Visual Circuits and the ABC of Traveling We have been always thinking of how to add more value to our IHR Travel Guides in real terms. That really helps the tourists to make an intelligent choice and not blindly follow the Guides or the Taxi Drivers once they land up in a particular destination. A search on the Google for visual circuits + Tourists yielded results that were everything but any visuals related to Tourists whether in India or elsewhere in the globe. This pushed us even more to come out with something pictorially, that is workable, practical and at the same time flexible enough to allow tourists to start or end their travel at a point of their choice and convenience. Buoyed by the enthusiastic response to our blog post 12 Escapades into the Konkan Coastline, which for the first time presented a visual circuit of the places that one encounters beyond Mumbai on the National Highway 17 running parallely to the Konkan coastline. This set the ball rolling and we came up with a unique Coorg distance chart.. Coorg district in Southwest Karnataka is a region that often confuses the visitors . People tend to goof up on the names, leaving out the must visit places, and clue less regarding the distances. Our Coorg distances Chart gave a clear cut view of all the places on the Coorg Circuit. This was followed suit with a Kochi Getaways. The third in this series is that of Shirdi Circuit comprising an amazing array of destinations - Shirdi , Nasik, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar et al. We have carefully refrained ourselves from giving any suggestion and left it on to the tourists to chart their own course instead. Haried travelers, on weekends or otherwise looking for quickfixes finds little help from the ``Dull Maps`` can now look forward to our series of Visual circuits. We intend to cover whole of India in the form of interesting circuits which would revolutionize the business of traveling. |
